Your scroll is considered enhanced information and can only be viewed by others under certain conditions which you initiate. For more information on who can see your profile when read this.
Putting you in control
There may be a time where you want to share your details under certain conditions particularly when job searching or part of introducing yourself to a new contact.
Using a sharing code helps you track back to how they came across you in the first place and when those details were viewed and by whom. This can be done using a scroll sharing code which is personalised to you.
We recommend that you use different codes for different recipients.
Generating scroll sharing codes
To generate a scroll share code:
- Make sure you are logged in to visit My Profiles / Share page
- Click on Generate code
An active share code will be generated and displayed. The unique sharing code (8 characters long) is valid for 40 days and will automatically expire.
You can have up to 2 active sharing codes at any one time.
Simply provide the generated link to your intended target audience and then visit the Share page from time-to-time to see who has viewed your scroll details.
Who viewed your scroll?
On the My Profiles / Scroll / Share page, you can see the details of who and how long ago that person viewed your scroll. The System will tell you if that person used a scroll sharing code or is a Team member. Here’s an example:
